Hi, I’m Alice

Self-Defence Instructor and Karateka

I currently hold a Self Defence Award from the renowned World Combat Association's Combat Coach programme which I completed under the tutelage of Iain Abernethy (Karate 7th Dan) and am looking forward to pursuing future qualifications with the group. The depth and rigour of the Self Defence Award along with my karate training and further research makes me confident in my ability to deliver simple and effective self-defence training.

Introducing TSP

Self-Defence for everyone

TSP aims to reach as many people as possible and teach them the basics of self-defence. TSP believes this will help people feel safer and more confident in their day-to-day lives, while reducing the risk of challenging and uncomfortable situations. We all have to remember that every situation is different, and of course self-defence cannot always be effective against an aggressor (through no fault of the target), but the hope is that defence training will reduce the likelihood of these situations, while teaching some ways to act if they occur.
